Looking for your new home can be exciting but also challenging. Exciting because of the new adventures and potential discoveries that await you and your family, challenging because of the paperwork, negotiations, and potential problems that might arise. In order to highlight the excitement and minimize the stresses, you need a realtor like Betsy Phillips to help you through the process of buying or selling a home. Betsy is the kind of person you can trust to ensure that real estate is both a fun and a seamless process. Betsy’s naturally affable and trustworthy personality will make you feel like a friend first and a client second, all while she’s connecting you with the best property for you and getting you the best deal.
Betsy Phillips grew up in and has lived most of her adult life in the Chicago North Shore. She has rented, owned, and also invested in an array of real estate properties in the North Shore, other suburbs, and the city of Chicago. No one knows the area like Betsy does, and she can help you find the perfect home and navigate the ins and outs of realty anywhere in the Chicagoland area.
As a mother who raised three children (and is recently a proud new grandmother!), and who also raised six dogs and looked after many grand-dogs and grand-cats, Betsy knows firsthand what a growing family needs in a home. She is sensitive to what families require in terms of neighborhoods, schools, shopping, access to transportation, and the importance of making a house feel like a nurturing home. Betsy is also committed to making sure the whole family loves a new property. Whether that means space for dogs to run, a garage big enough for a collectible car, or a room for a child’s art projects, Betsy understands and wants to match you with your best new home, not the other way around. Based on her personal experiences, Betsy especially enjoys working with younger families with kids in elementary school as well as clients looking for investment properties for their children to live in during their college years.
A graduate of Lake Forest College, where she majored in American Studies with a specialization in the history and development of cities, Betsy has always had a deep passion for Chicago’s history and architecture, and, most importantly, its people. It is this interest in Chicago’s people and architecture that drew her toward real estate, but, like a home buyer still shopping for the right home, this passion took a while to come to fruition. Betsy spent most of her early career in the marketing, industry, and personal training fields, but when she sold her last home through Baird & Warner, something clicked. This is what she was meant to do: helping people in Chicago find homes was her occupational home.
Since getting her broker’s license, Betsy has amassed a stellar record of happy and successful sales. Being a realtor has allowed Betsy to draw on her own extensive experiences and driven her to hone her skill sets to be a realtor who works with the unmatched ease of a well-seasoned professional. Betsy works tirelessly with the utmost integrity and prides herself on being a problem-solver with a determined attitude. You can trust Betsy to put your needs first and get the job done right. Betsy’s naturally friendly, extroverted demeanor will make your quest for the right home pleasurable and easy, and having her on your team will produce the results and experience you want, and deserve, in your next real estate adventure.
